Nolan Fontana and Preston Tucker led the offense with 2 hits apiece and Delino DeShields Jr. scored a pair of runs while closer Travis Ballew got the final 5 outs for his 4th save of the year.

Low A - South Bend 6 Quad Cities 4

Jesse Wierzbicki hit his 3rd homer of the season, and Ryan Dineen drew 4 walks for the second time in 3 games, but it wasn't enough as the Silver Hawks edged out the River Bandits (15-10) by a score of 6-4. Colton Cain fell to 0-3 on the year when he surrendered a pair of runs in the bottom of the 8th. Cain's struggles continued as this performance actually lowered his ERA on the year to 11.12.
